[Webinar] Dose individualization in practice, the example of Tobramycin

on 3 July 2017

Dose individualization has been shown to improve patient outcomes and reduce adverse events. Yet, dose individualization is a challenging task, methodologically and practically. In this webinar, we will show how to perform dose individualization using the MonolixSuite.
The antimicrobial agent with narrow therapeutic window Tobramycin will be used as concrete real-time case study. After the development of a population PK model using published data, the model will be used to determine a priori via simulations a safe and efficient dosing regimen for one specific patient with impaired renal clearance. The dose optimization can be done using either the individuals covariates, or individual parameters obtained from therapeutic monitoring.
All the case study can be found here and the webinar can be seen here
