MonolixSuite2016R1
Architecture: 64 bits
Operating system: Ubuntu, Suse, Centos
Possible troubleshooting
When downloading the package, or launching the installer, the antivirus may tell that the executable file is risky, considered malicious and stopped working. This is due to the fact that MonolixSuite embeds a compiler for the Mlxtran language. Thus, the antivirus put it in quarantine or remove it. Two solutions are available:
1/ Deactivate your antivirus auto-protection process during download and installation, or
2/ Restore the file from the quarantine.

Specificity for Ubuntu16.04
Additionally to the package, you should add the following patch link. Installation:
- unzip the following archive : tar xfz patch-ubuntu-16.04.tgz
- copy the content just above Monolix2016R1 folder. The "unzip" will erase monolix.sh and create Monolix.sh and will install libXp
Prerequisites
Make sure you have gcc/g++/make installed or install them.
Matlab is not necessary to run this version of the software, a stand alone version of Monolix is provided. However, the user can use its own Matlab to run Monolix. In that case, supported Matlab version are between Matlab2010bSP1 and Matlab2015a.
perl is required to run perlScripts and the validation suite; it is not required otherwise.
For using the calculation engine Simulx, the user can not access directly to it as no user interface is provided, yet. Thus, the user should have R (version greater than 3.2 is recommended) and download the R-package mlxR (see here) to use the calculation engine Simulx.
